Designed for reducing knee pain cused by osteoarthritis of the knee and often helps delay the need for surgery. The unloading / offloader one is a comfortable, lightweight, low-profile brace with 3 points of leverage for reducing pressure inside(Medial) the knee joint. It’s universal, fitting a wide variety of patients easily. The strapping system allows for full adjustment, but also features quick snaps for quick and easy application.
1. Indications
● Mild Unicompartmental Osteoarthritis
● Rheumatoid arthritis
● Bow leg correction knee conditions
● Knee conditions requiring load reduction
● Mensical cartilage defect repair
● Avascular necosis, or tibial plateau fracture
● Bone on bone knee issue
2. Features
● Exceptionally light weight, low profile, and easy to use design.
● Unique varus/valgus angle adjustment to provide compartmental off-loading and optimize pain relief.
● 3 points of leverage for reducing pressure Inside/Medial the knee joint.
● Condyle pads for increased comfort, stability and pain control.
● Quick release buckles for easy donning and doffing.
● Silicone gripped liners and strap pads to help prevent migration.
● Optional flexion/extension stops for range of motion control
3. Fitting
● Wrap strap labeled 1 around leg.This need to be above calf for anti-sliding.
● Wrap strap labeled 2 around calf for lower leg stability.
● Wrap strap 3 and 4 upper leg stability.
4. Adjustment
●Varus / Valgus Correction Adjustments.Use tool that is inclued to Rotate clockwise or counterclockwise against knee to relieve pain.
●Range of Motion Extension and Flexion Blocks.Removable, hyperextension angle adjustment stops limiting the range of motion to help prevent re-injury.
●Adjust the Length of the Strap to Suit Your Custom.If the straps are too long, cut them short. If it's too short, KOMZER will provide longer straps.
